The download is apparently only 2MB, which then downloads as part of setup, the larger program.

Anyway to download the larger file initially so that purchaser can install after 31 days?

IMO the only thing that will expire after 30 days is the link provided by http://www.journeyed.com/

If you save that 2mb file you should be good to go for as long as you have it. As mentioned above that file is actually very easy to obtain for free, what you are paying for is the key
