What do you mean?
He's asking if it's on all Amex cards.

I personally know of a case after 4 years. I am asking if this is the rule across the board for all cards? Do you know from experience?

It's on membership rewards cards. But not all applications have the language.

Obviously the case I'm referring to was a language app. So do you know from experience that all MR cards have a seven year "life"?

What do you mean?

I think he means across all personal products. If so, the answer is yes.

I don't believe that. There's probably more to the story.

We had this argument once before... Beleive what you want... And you still haven't answered the question as to wether or not you are talking from experience.

The first card was canceled or downgraded?

And regarding your question -
D93 only responds from personal experiences.  :)

Cancelled. Are you telling me you have tested every Amex card out there after a 7 year break? ::)

Cool! Lucky duck!
Yup. In general I don't think there is a clear cut system in place. There deffinetly have been inconsistencies in the past with their signup bonuses. Back in the day when personal switched to once in a lifetime, I was successful. However, a close relative of mine was denied the bonus on that very same card, based on the fact that he had it already.

I opened a plat card recently with a no language offer the initial account was no good so they had to issue me a new one I completed the spending but the bonus didn't post automatically I confirmed with multiple cs reps that the offer is on the account but when I spoke to mr rep she said since I received the bonus in August I'm not eligible when I told her the offer did not have the language she said the terms are on the website is there anything to do about it TIA
