yes I closed the card I called cs who was also unsure why the claw back was done as I achieved the spend with no returns, in hindsight not sure I should've called in though

How long after you closed the card did they claw back the points?

See my post in Amex FR thread... Same thing happened to me. No downgrade still open. But clawback. My bonus coincided with another bonus from Amex biz plat. They clawed back edp bonus.

Did you earn two "acquisition" bonuses as they call them, within a short amount of time?

nope just that a purchase was refunded

After tallying up all my spend beside pggm which was the only charge refunded, it still equalled greater then the threshold amount

Maybe they're clawing back now for a deficit from a previous bonus that was received through refundable's.. I've recently heard of such a case.

Edp posted feb 12, plat posted feb 15. Clawback of 15,000 was on March 3. Both cards opened Jan 11 or 12.

Never refundable. Only PGGM on the biz plat. Spent well over the 10k to be safe.

Only questionable thing I can think of is that that the AU loaded onto serve?
