So I got my 150k from a hotel reservation to total 300k in the account. If i dont plan on paying the bill for the hotel what are my options? Do I need liquidate into a mileage currency to protect from claw-back?

What would happen if you transfer to SQ/AC... And then close all MR cards and then refund?

Thats what I might have to do... but I would need to do that with both of my amex accounts for a grand total of 525k combined and be left with nothing. I am looking for a way to keep some MR

This has probably been asked before so I apologize!
I opened up a plat with a 100k sign up bonus and no language on the application.
It took weeks for any points to post from spend.  the 3000 spend points  finally posted but I still didn't get the 100k.
When I asked them why they told me it's because I already had a plat in the past.  Is there anything I can do?
Thanks

Was the offer sent to you? Do you still have it? (You checked your MR activity and it doesn't say anything about the 100k?)
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

The offer was sent to me and I still have it.
I actually mentioned to them in chat that I didn't see any language restricting me from having had a card in the past and they replied and said that it is in the t&c in the online application.

If you have nothing to hide, call up the MR team (800AXPEARN) and ask for a manager.

I believe that these cases will do no good at all. Eat up the inquiry and try again a different time. If anything, bringing it to the attention of managers can only flag such RSVPs and have them make sure they won't have this "language" going forward. It's not like Amex purposefully sends out "No Language" Apps to users to make them happy. It is a loophole that was discovered. If you want to keep it around long-term, don't look for the short term gain.

I don't think these no language offers are typos. I don't know Amex's algorithm, but that system deemed you worth offering the bonus again too.
The cases are usually worthless, but if you're incredibly lucky, maybe you'll get it on the spot.

That's the main point. No use in going through it all, when most likely you won't get it in the end. The less scrutiny the better.

I'm not looking to ruin anything that's why I was asking here what to say. It happens to be that everything took so long to post that I'm past 60 days from when the af posted so there is also money at stake.

You think the fact that some have language and some don't is a mistake?

Of course.
