What is happening to Amex signup bonuses?

I recently closed a BRG card, and now I'm seeing a 75K/10 offer in the offers section on my other cards for opening a BGR. The app that shows up makes no reference to not having had the same product. Any data points on whether I'd get the bonus if I apply for it?

i have the same offer no language until i hit apply now then it says this

Welcome bonus offer not available to applicants who have or have had this product.

And thats when i quit the game lol

Reviving old thread as i haven't found any other threads spoecifically discussing amex's once in a lifetime bonus. @TimT ?

iinm, the once in a "lifetime" means once in 6 or 7 years or so (since card was closed) according to @doctorofcredit I believe.
Anyone know if there is a way to see all cards one has had with Amex and when they may have last been closed?

if you have an open amex card you could add all your cards to your account, and then ask the chat reps when the card was closed

if you have the card then just look at the expiration date then do minus 5 years + about 3 months (the amount of time cards were left open for in those days)     I think the expiration date of the card is 5 years after opening

The point is that I don't have the cards and I don't have them in my online account.

I'm asking if it is something you have done. Have cards added back in that you have not had in 5 or more years.
Or if you are speculating or reporting based on what others have told you vs first hand knowledge

You should be able to ask chat reps to give you a list, not sure how accurate it actually is but they will provide it.

You could have tried it and then if it doesnt work then you could ask, but if I said you could ask the chat reps to add all your closed cards it means I know that you could add it.
