The flyertalk wiki on paying Citi with debit cards says that Metabank Visa cards can not be used.

The benefit of registering is to enable the card to be used for online or phone purchases.

In the past, I've needed activation code (mailed separately) to use visa gift cards purchased from staples.com.

Should I be looking out for more mail with the codes?

My cards worked, but still no charge at Chase. Maybe the gift card is actually a gift.

I got my cards today and no charge on chase at my end either. However, it does reflect in my overall balance. Will probably take a few days to come up on the completed transactions.

very weird thing with these gc happened to me. i received them activated one of them and registered to my name... went to ra tried to load on to a working serve acct. the keypad said payment approved but cashier said it did not go through. i called the number on back of gc they told me that the transaction went and money was transfered but was then put back on to my gc. any input? am i doing st wrong?

Out of 3 orders that said "shipped", one shows up as transaction and 2 do not show up on pending or are deducted from cl available. This whole thing is extremely frustrating!

When you check your serve account, what does it show?

When I call to activate by phone they ask for the activation code which I didn't receive by mail yet, any way around it?

IIRC I once had luck by getting around it but big hassle. The codes should be around in no time.

They may not be the correct numbers as I remember getting the number from some rep but it's possible that I didn't save it.
