If you have the phone check out the imei on their site to see if its compatible. It may work with ringplus

Verizon phones don't usually work with Sprint's towers.

I had freedom pop until recently. The 3.99 does not give regular cell service. Rather it allows outgoing calls to go through cell service when the data is slow.

I have freedompop over 2 years, I have opened with them about 20 accounts (for other people) I can say one thing, their costumer service is HORRIBLE many employees have no idea what they are doing, I usually don't bother calling the when I have a issue with a phone I just dispute the charge, it's ridiculous to deal with them.

I just want to clarify. Freedompop has a policy that your topup credit becomes inactive after 30 days . so at that point your balance auto tops up for this free offer essentially making it at least $10 a month? Is there any way to make it really free? Thanks

Turn off auto topup.

Isn't 4g better than 3g? Why is the 4g only plan free?

Presumably because it will toggle between services. If you're in an area with no 4G reception and you have the 4G only plan, you'll get...nothing. I assume you are charged more on 3G/4G for the flexibility.
