What's with these "Westgate teens" is this the new thug life in Lakewood?
Just say Mizmor Lesoda that it's not your immediate family, and Psalm 130 because it is your extended family. Let's not condemn, badmouth, or judge any community without walking a mile in their shoes (and for the most part, we very much do not want to walk a meter in the shoes of these parents or children). Obviously we have to do whatever is possible to stop dangerous and damaging behavior, and to protect innocent people who are being hurt and damaged and terrorized. However, let's try to use whatever time we'd spend "hocking" about it to instead daven for all those involved and for Klal Yisroel. It's a few days to Rosh Hashanah, Parshas Nitzavim, in middle of the Yemei Ratzon of Elul and Selichos for teshuva, and the Chafetz Chaim's yartzeit. May HKBH have mercy on all those in pain and experiencing difficulty and bring them from darkness to light.
I'm talking to myself here, not criticizing or judging anyone.
