Letter to governor and AG about Rabbi Eisemannhttps://thelakewoodscoop.com/news/an-open-letter-to-governor-phil-murphy-and-attorney-general-matt-platkin/
Very well written. This letter should be given as much publicity as possible.
Quotes in a signature is annoying, as it comes across as an independent post.
I think people should leave comments on the letter, even short ones, agreeing with it. It is likely they will see it at some point and it's much more impressive if there are tons of comments.
I was once told that politicians do keep tabs on correspondence from us citizens, even if it's only to count the number of pro and con letters.
If the goal is to have it read by the Gov and AG, the writer should send 2 separate letters directly to them.
This letter was tweeted out by Shlomo Schorr, and the governor's team reads his tweets. It was also tweeted with tags to the governor and the AG, so I'd assume that the advisors of both have already read it.
This can't be the first or even 10th time Murphy has heard about these complaints. All we care about is action.
I understand why this is the case (he's a young sheltered bachur), but it's still embarrassing when someone publicly implies that a crime, which almost certainly had nothing to do with religion, was a hate crime.
