I once calculated that for a line in a road 16 Amos wide to have 600000 going over it per day you need to have rows shoulder to shoulder going straight all day long walking pretty quickly.

This is Lakewood after all. Imagine if every time the Gemara segued into another inyan with תנן התם or the like, a moderator would come along and say “alright Rabbosai, let’s  break this off into a new mesechta.” We would have like 30,000 mesechtos in shas.

I don't think he directly addresses practicalities of Lakewood anywhere. However his talmidim have apparently said that he took the position that ס רבוא isn't a factor in רשות הרבים. There are many eiruvin in town which would not be ok according to this.

Route 9 is an independent issue, as it is a serious ס רבוא concern. So even people who are more meikal in general would have a problem.

There isn't anything close to 600,000 on the parts near Lakewood (even including some twists and turns all the way up to Freehold).

What is the average number of occupants per vehicle?

I am referring to the old way to use a street-walking. It is not easy-if even possible-to have 600000 walk over a 16 amah line within 24 hours. You would need 16 people to cross the line every 2.3 seconds with no break for the entire 24 hours.

Akmimus does not seem like a great description for exiting onto the GSP to continue on Rt 9 in Toms River or turning onto Rt 36 (I think) to continue in Old Bridge. Those are much more than a bend in the road. The vast majority of the way is sparsely populated.
