Seeing as there are 2400 ppl registered to vote at the hertzka building and only 200 or so voted, it seems like it was a big missed opportunity for them.
Ultimately didnt matter but something to focus on better next time around.

Does anyone know if there enough total slots for boys applying now for the 2024-2025 school year? Even if every family would be willing to send to any school, would there be enough slots? Anecdotally, it seems this year is worse than other years.

I have the same anecdotal perception. Seems like a lot of the "newer" schools that added classes in previous years, did not add this year and there are more siblings taking up slots in those schools. That being said, i keep hearing that some of the older schools, with older parent bodies have more openings. But families do have to apply there to get in........

I did hear of one school that has plenty of capacity and was even advertising in local publications. But I cannot confirm. I do know of somebody that got in to that school without any issue (no pull necessary).

From a purely political reason, he really needs to be attentive to them. He needs them to reelect him. They can take him out in a reelection if he neglects them.

Turnout in Monmouth was much lower than they expected. If Schnall ignores them and gives them some fire to vote next time, they can vote in much bigger numbers. At the same time, the fire in Lakewood can die down next time.

What are the needs of Howell anyhow? State funding for random stuff? Why wouldn't he do it?
