If you can convince whoever is behind LNN that many people really don't care about that accident on New Hampshire Avenue nor do they care what some guy straight out of school with a degree in Social Work thinks about the world's problems, nor do they care that the toms river city council was presented with a lifesaving award, and keep to posting things that are actually relevant it might help reach viewers that are turned off by other news sites.

Problem is there probably isn't enough relevant news to keep enough traffic coming multiple times a day.
I disagree with you

This would be like trying to convince a steakhouse to go vegan.

Very good. Maybe one or two would actually be able to hear something about this too, but on a large scale?

A fence has gone up around the community center at 4th and Princeton.

Update: The center has been demolished.

Coles is absolutely wrong, there are 'the traffic is on roads the town has less control on' yea of course the three crossing are state/county roads, how about adding tonship roads and add more crossings over the lake/s?

That's exactly the point. The township is not interested in paving any roads. All taxes paid are for the privilege of living in Lakewood. Roads are not included. I wonder what the conversation of R'Shimon Bar Yochai and the other tanuim would have looked like if it took in place in Lakewood.

I think we need to encourage vaccines to the local officials, that would be a good start

Census data puts Lakewood at 135k plus residents! Far above all projections. Makes Lakewood either the 4th or 5th largest municipality in NJ!

Fell a little short of overtaking Elizabeth.

5th. Will likely be 3rd at the next census.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

I would love to meet the guy who started the myth about a city having to do with a population of 100k. He's probably laughing smugly at his computer, alongside the guy who posted about the canceled Ger wedding.

Does that change anything for the town?

I'm not sure what you're saying here, once you hit a certain threshold you can convert your township to a city which gives the locals more power which usually benefits the local residents, on the other hand a city can impose local taxes so it's not so exciting,
by becoming a city it gives you more flexibility and more responsibilities as well
