says who?
Anyone who had a problematic tenant.
let him move and you get a higher paying tenant
GL getting him evicted from your illegal basement apartment.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

If they're legal, they are legal accessory apartments, not legal to rent out. You can make them legal to rent out, but very few people do so.

Buyers for buying groups...

Or people who "live" out of thier car like I. Wherever I am I know I'll have my car with me. So it's a good place to leave things I always need.
I'm not who you think I am.

From Hefkervelt - Hamodia Prime magazine article in the rental apartment shortage in Lakewood. Masa Umatan has never had so few pages continuously. The shortage is causing prices to go sky high. Factors for shortage, less building, covid, high demand as couples not moving to EY,  high construction costs. Lakewood has room for only another 2000 units according to some in the industry. A recent survey of chadarim and Bais Yaakovs in Lakewood counted 40 eighth-grade classes each, which amounts to approximately 1,000 14-year-old pairs of children. If we project ahead, this means that in eight years from now, when this class will be in shidduchim, there  should be 1,000 couples getting married and looking for their first apartments. Adding 1,000 apartments to Lakewood per year is really unsustainable. Suggestions are to keep moving to lower exits on the GSP.

There are a number of large apartment complexes in Jackson that are ripe for the picking and within the frum areas

This doesn't take into account apartments that open up from "older" families moving into houses.

There are apartment complexes in Lakewood but until now market rent in Lakewood was significantly lower than they are getting for those apartments.

I recently spoke to someone in the industry, he told me apartment rent needs to be at least around $1600 for apartment buildings to be economical, I think the slowdown in basement apartments will keep rent high enough, and we will start seeing a lot of new apartment buildings.

A couple years ago I assisted a non-Jewish employee moving to Lakewood, I was shocked at the prices for a 1bd/1br apartment. Something like $1200, and nothing was available. Meanwhile a brand new 3 bd/2br was like $1,000-1,200 in Jewish basements.

I was just in my car listening to a vaad on chumash from R Matisyahu. He asked about the bracha given by Lavan to Rivka אֲחֹתֵנוּ אַתְּ הֲיִי לְאַלְפֵי רְבָבָה וְיִירַשׁ זַרְעֵךְ אֵת שַׁעַר שֹׂנְאָיו why is the bracha that they should win over the enemies-it should be that there are no enemies in the first place. He answered that the Yidden will always have enemies on all sides and that the only way to win over them is through demographics. There is no way that any enemy can win over that.

- Kavod Hatorah: A school in Lakewood sent a text message that talmidim should wear white shirts for the visit of Rav Dov Landau, somehow the message went out to a database of thousands of people and parents with kids in other schools and cities sent their children with white shirts thinking it was their school.

I was wondering about that
the text looked fishy

As is Thanksgiving, the holiday that was established as a religious day of prayer, fasting, and atonement and only later evolved into it’s current form, something Rav Moshe was quite likely unaware of.
Don't underestimate rav moshe. Did you learn through all three teshuvos?
