You’d be paying close to $6000 a month in mortgage and taxes. Even after $1800 for the basement your talking close to $4000 a month. Even with a salary of over 150,000 you’d still be spending over 30% of your salary on housing. It’s amazing that the average family is able to afford these prices.

Jackson township has agreed to settle a lawsuit with the jackson trails development after the planning board initially denied the application. On the township agenda this Tuesday a settlement was reached paving the way for the new development of close to 500 homes, duplexes, on South Hope chapel road off Whitesville rd in jackson. The asking price is expected to be in line with the current real estate market in the $900k area.
Does 900k make sense if you can't rent out your basement in jackson ?

Because you put yourself in a situation where you could have killed someone, you’re considered a shoifech damim – potentially.

And that’s a tremendous sin. You must understand that. Just because nothing happened doesn’t mean that you’re not guilty.

People who are reckless in their driving are doing something that is opposite from the will of Hashem and they are asidin li’tein es hadin; sooner or later they will be punished.
