Not indulging is not a “Yeshivish” value , it’s a Jewish value.

But unfortunately, when you have Jewish neighbors and community members who are steeped in these things and promoting these things, sometimes you need to give your kids a differentiation they can understand.

This whole conversation started because of the Voice advertisers. The Voice is a Jewish paper. Hence the need to micro-define myself as Yeshivish.

- TVOL apologies  for publishing a article a few weeks ago in a financial column that questioned the kollel way of life. It triggered angry responses from  readers. The paper said that it was a misjudgment to print it as it does not reflect the Lakewood standard

Went last summer. We went really early to give us time to try numerous spots throughout the air show viewing area and there was almost no where to view that wasn’t problematic. After numerous viewing attempts we ended up 2 blocks away with a mostly obstructed view. Really not a mehalech.
