The way I view it, there a 4 non "Anti-Semitic" reasons to not want Frum Yidden moving in:
1. The broken funding formula that has completely wrecked the Lakewood school budget, will likely have similar effects on the (already in trouble for unrelated reasons) Jackson school budget.
2. Frum yidden require shuls in residential areas.
3. They have seen the corruption with approvals in Lakewood and don't want any of that in Jackson
4. Because of the way the infrastructure is currently set up, Jackson is going to see a lot more traffic.
The best thing to happen to Frum Yidden in Jackson is when Jackson Township messed themselves over in 2017 and dug their own grave. The lawsuit ensures that there can be shuls in residential areas and they have no more cards.
That being said, there are certainly many anti-Semites that use some of these arguments to back up their hate. But they are bad at disguising their contempt. In the end of the day times change and cities evolve and develop.
In regards to the commentators wanting "their peace".To quote one of public commentator, "Jackson isn't exactly Kansas." And most of those commentators only moved to Jackson within the last 10 years, which destroys any credibility they might have.
These are just my opinions.
