Sentenced to death, but Pennsylvania has a very high rate of overturning or commuting death penalties.

He was convicted in Federal court, not PA. However, Biden made a moratorium on carrying out death penalties on a federal level. We'll see if an exception is made for this case (though by the time the appeals wind their way through court, Biden may no longer be president).
