just see this discussion now. if you move in upstairs theres no law of 5%, since its owner occupied so you can raise him however much you want

You obviously didn't read through the thread very well. The tenant has a contract limiting the increases to 5%.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.
