Nope just standard CB stuff, too many new accounts etc.

How many cards do you have with Barclays?
How long are you a customer with them?

Another thing. Because it's Barclay's, if they give high limits, you can load a citigold and get 2% cash back. Pretty good...

The arrival + is better. Granted you need to have one with a high limit.

If it's a "luxury card" they may be more generous with the limit

With Barclays you can always easily merge credit limits between cards anyway.

I'm thinking of applying as a 2bm, wondering if it looks like a regular Barclay's inquiry or something different.

You get a free report if you are denied credit.

Also I think credit karma can tell you this information.

The real problem here is getting them upset after you cancel, and they may revoke the statement credit.

Not at all. But with an AF @$995, there has got to be a bit more scrutiny. In general I find that Barclays reps seem a bit more intelligent than most.

Is the card in any way worth keeping? Does it have any good benefits?
