Live from the Virgin Clubhouse..
Got here with more then enough time to spare - I mean c'mon - first time means I want to enjoy every drop of it.
Got to Terminal 4 and started looking around. Where oh where are you Singapore? Once I started seeing Swiss and Emirates, I figured Singapore can't be far and lo and behold there it was, Singapore Airlines Check-In.
Boy was I pumped. So I go to stand in line for
Suites Check In (how the heck is there a line(!!!) for Suites Check In!?
) just to be asked by the lady operating the Business Check-In to step forward.
Emmm, I don't think so. I gently nodded and told her I'll wait in my designated line. I paid for Suites, I'll have Suites check me in!
Once it was my turn, the lady behind the counter also double-checked by staring me down before asking me for my passport. [Me wearing jeans, sneakers and a sweatshirt they all must be thinking that I am some Silicon Valley Start Up Guru

She was willing to check my carry-on all the way to Vienna even though I am flying LH from FRA to VIE but I opted to rather not have that done as I have stuff for the flight in my carry-on and can't afford to have it be delayed in any way considering the short trip I am taking.
Off we were to security..
One word.
Horrible. While they do have a "separate lane" for J/F passengers it was simply not moving. Took me 25 minutes to get through. I saw people in the economy lane moving faster. Chuzpah!
Well, I finally made my way over towards Gate 7 and into the Virgin Lounge. So far so good as I sit with a beer and some cocktails enjoying the view and the ambience. Sadly the complimentary haircut is only for Virgin Atlantic passengers (that is not what you mentioned Mr. Schlappig!!
) and so Ill eventually take a shower as well but won't have my hair be all neat and tidied up.
Talk to you after a couple more drinks..
