I think you're missing the point...... Through all of the excitement there were to many people to quickly and it got out of hand and they weren't ready for it....... The publicity, the phone calls, the stalkers, the takers, the family Memebers etccc

All the tickets were bought locally here in LA, and Fedex'd to the facilities around CA.

Meh. I'm not saying I'd be surprised if she claims it in the end, but if I had to bet I'd guess she didn't win. Of the 2 scenarios, it's slightly more plausible to me overall.

And that's the point. Part of this whole thing is the assumption that he paid for the winning ticket. And the whole "should she give him some" part of the interview shows that.

That would be super dishonest of him though. He knows she couldn't have won from his tickets, yet he plays it up like she did?

ETA: I guess that's an issue regardless of how you view the prank/real winner issue.

He never said straight out that he bought it for her. Also, the news articles don't say he bought the winning ticket.
They just say "he bought all his employees tickets"....."and one of his employees won". They never connect those two facts.

he responded that he is not expecting anything and that it would be nice if she would share with her fellow nurses-coworkers.

Yes, but he didn't have to disclose that info. The press was running with the story and why not let them..They didn't ask him to confirm that he bought the ticket in chino hills.
