Reward Travel - Miles not deducted.

yestrday I booked 2 coach ticket on reawrd travel using my us air miles for flights on united. somehow thru system ticket didnt go thru, even though it was avaiable. so the agen kept trying multiple times, but it was not getting ticketed in there system and she kept blaming united for it. that after merger these issues are coming etc.... hen she put me on hold and said, she will have to manually do it. she came back and did it. took my credit card for taxes and fees etc.... so I was done. I went to united site with conf. number, it showed that it was indeed ticketed.

today when I saw mu usairways account. it has debited 50K miles thrice and credite those 50000 again thrice. so in essence they didnt take 50000 miles from account. what should I do ? Check with united that it is not canceled or anything like that? call us air to ask hem? stay mum and just see that whether ticket will work ? any suggestions?

Mum it. Use the PNR to check the status of the ticket online. If it shows up your good to go.

Mum it. Use the PNR to check the status of the ticket online. If it shows up your good to go.

When I see united site with con number. It shows it is ticketed. I open receipt over there, it shows eticket number as well. Am I good?

i had the same thing last year, getting a ticket issued by us air, and flying CO and SWISS and USAIR in which part of my trip was a paid ticket (in the system) and i got miles for the flight etc. and i kept my mouth shut

I have ticketed. with e-ticket number in receipt. Seat automatically assigned. i went in and re-assigned them, that too worked. no miles deducted after 1 week now. receipt says, I paid $10 for taxes and fare paid 0. Only concern I have is, what if at last minute, they say it is not valid ticket and you didnt pay required miles for it. shall I call US AIR or United to confirm, if all looks good? (just wait is too much at United)
