The Official Complain Thread Against The Local Heimishe Jewish Owned Stores

I have lots from the past and I am sure others do as well but now I am upset so I'll start with this one.

My brother bought a suit in G&G clothing, last week when he put it on for the first time the pants tore while he was bending to pick up something..... Well well he went to G&G to ask them to fix it, they give him such big eyes and tell him you don't see we're having a sale right now, we have no time to fix your pants go to a tailor or you have to wait 3 weeks for us to finish the sale!!! He figured he can use another suit so he will buy another one on sale so at least he will have what to wear. He takes a suit and tried it on and gives it in for some alteration and the guy tells him it will be ready in 4 weeks since its a sale  He was like can you put a rush on it since I literally don't have what to wear because the first suit I got here was no good? The answer: We can put it in as a rush but you will have to pay full price. He is like "Ummm, I just paid full price for a suit that tore on me on my first time wearing it, you can't fix it for me, fine, you can't even make rush for a new suit unless I pay full price?   

And so on and so on with the return policy's etc.. Ever saw the eyes the local store owners give you for taking out an Amex

No. Why is the Lashon Hara?  We will have our own corner where we car review our stores.

And besides that, there were at least 10 people over there when they showed this kind of customer service. They sounded proud about it.

Not that I agree with the point of this thread , but ilherman was saying that if G&G gives this service in front of 10 ppl this means that it something they don't think is wrong.

Just because your case might not be, dosnt justify all the loshon hara that will be brought up in this thread that was started for the sole purpose of bad thing about jewish stores.

Is someone going to/not going to shop there because of what people say here in the forums?

While some hechsherim are good for some and not for othrs, there are hechsherim out there run by conservative rabbis with no regard to Halacha. The restaurants proudly display signs with hebrew letters and the 'hechshers' websites are full of hebrew writing that can fool someone unfamiliar with it.

Please promise me that you will never read a Yelp or Tripadvisor review. It is just full of Lashan Hara!
I will allow you to enjoy your miserable customer experience while I read all the lashon hara on the shop you just regret visiting. I will then take my business elsewhere and enjoy my experience.
