Any way to skip a leg and continue with the rest? or extend a non changeable leg

I have a flight from
tlv - cdg - yul - yyz
Return yyz - ams -tlv.

I called the airline and ota to change the flight return point from yyz to yul, but they both told me i cant make any changes even for a fee.

The alternative would be to stop in yul over shabbos and catch the flight to yyz on sunday or monday, or even buy a new flight and catch the retrun to israel from yyz.
Is there any way I can extend the stop over in yul from thu night to sunday or monday? or skip it completely and still catch my return from yyz?

nothing will happen if you don't fly YUL - YYZ, West jet will NOT cancel your remaining flights.

Im flying with my wife and child, I cant risk loosing the flight, but if you can confirm in any way, I might do it.

Unless it is two separate tickets, missing one leg cancels out the rest of the ticket.

I cant guarantee it 100%, but I have experience with a few airlines, even skipping the first leg & nothing happened, the only airline with experience that they do cancel the ticket is United, but only when its their ticket, otherwise they don't have the control to cancel the ticket.

Officially, you're 100% wrong.

If you know as a matter of practice that WestJet does not enforce the rule, then that's something different.

If you're guessing, but stating it affirmatively as fact, that's reckless.

Thanks guys. Seems I'll do what's safe for now on not skip. If I may switch the subject a bit.
Any way to get bulk head when traveling with a child in lap preferably with out paying.
I checked seat guru and it seems their seets don't match what air France shows on their site.
Here are my flights, if anyone can give me the best two stories spots, I don't need a bassinet, just wanted the extra space for my daughter to sit and play.
Af 1321, 044 tlv -cdg - yul leaving Jan 21
KLM 692, 461 yyz - ams - tlv Feb 8 and 9.
