huh, why? not everyone can fly as much as others.. this isnt a competition or anything.. its cool to see a recap of where people flew
Come on. This is fun, if you took one flight, or you took 100.

We're a group of like-minded fiends!
Lol, easy to say when each of your's are filled out nicely.

OK, your travels are really impressive.

I do this mostly for short domestic flights. Thanks to Dans Deals, and DDF, I booked dozens of short haul flight for myself and family, plus one trip from TLV. I probably saved close to 10 grand. Mostly from CLE to LGA/EWR/PHL.

The bulk were Avios, some United and AA, and some hidden cities.
Now if i could include my hidden cities destinations, it would look a little more varied!

I hope that my post gived some chizuk to other pedestrians.

This is what happens when you travel with 4 kids:

SQ   20,000   1.19%
BA   32,500   1.94%
Marriott   40,000   2.39%
AA   47,250   2.82%
DL   60,000   3.58%
UR   61,964   3.70%
IHG   70,000   4.18%
SPG   124,000   7.40%
MR   208,494   12.44%
WN   231,858   13.83%
Flying Blue   300,000   17.90%
Hilton   480,000   28.64%
Total   1,676,066   100.00%

For simplicity purposes, I converted the HH free nights (4 at WAJ) and one IHG anniversary night (CP Beverly Hills) to the points it would have cost at the hotel redeemed.

ETA- Forgot IHG- now updated.

I also did not add 125k UA for tickets booked for friends LAX-JFK (2RT in J and one RT in Y).

The where isn't always the exciting part, sometimes its the numbers. But I hear, also some of us don't necessarily fly anywhere exciting.

That being said...
JFK-YVR CX First  - 29,250 AA
VYR-LAX AC Economy  - $148.88
LAX-EWR UA First/Business - 25,000 UA
LGA-STL DL Economy - 10,000 DL
STL-LGA AA Economy $119.10
LGA-STL WN 15,900 WN
STL-LGA WN  10,477 WN (Refunded in travel credit for being bumped)
JFK-FCO DL Delta One 31,250 FB (Flight 1 of 4 of Itinerary total was 125,000+$130.40) + $32.60 (Taxes & Fees)
FCO-TLV AZ Business 31,250 FB (Flight 2 of 4 of Itinerary total was 125,000+$130.40) + $32.60 (Taxes & Fees)

Total of 15,228 flown, 144,127 points/miles used $361.19 used.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Map?
For those who know where MEL SID and AKL are but are unsure where TLV, LGA, and CLE are.
please see below.
Totals?
Ok, In the old days, I would know the totals, but now, with miles, I dont even keep track. Daughter wants a friend to come visit...sure. Son want to go to camp...sure. Parents and inlaws need a visit...sure. Need an interview...sure. Need fingerprints taken in NY...sure. Off shabbos in yeshiva...sure. Friends chasunah...sure. Cousins chasunah...sure. day off...sure.
Boruch Hashem, I dont need to keep track. I tried counting my confirmation emails, but there were so many changes, cancellations, that i have no idea. Easily over 30.

ETA, Just checked my main BA account, used 121,500 Avios. And there were some from some other account as well.

I noticed that- when you do the same route more than once it just has one red line for it.

I probably missed a bunch of business flights, but here's the bulk of my 2015 travels:

Grand total: 100 segments, 88,265 flown miles, not too many redeemed miles

This probably sums it up best:

I don't travel nearly as much as most people here. I only tend to travel more loudly ;).
