Thursday, January 21: Transiting NRTWe landed on time at gate 46 in terminal 1. Like with all transit passengers, we needed to clear security even though we were continuing on the same flight. I was the 2nd one off the plane, and as soon as I got off I was met by a SQ rep apologizing that they didn’t have any KSVML for me in NRT, just a plain KSML. As a backup, they had stocked the plane with a boatload of fresh fruit and a couple different entre options for me, one pareve, one not. Suffice to say I told him that sufficed just fine on a flight I didn’t plan on eating anything on in the first place.
After clearing security without any fuss, I proceeded straight to the ANA F lounge on the 4th floor, the same floor we already happened to be on.
Unlike other reports of the ANA F lounge, I found the shower situation to be quite excellent. Not only was there absolutely no line to speak of, but they also handed you your own mini bottles of body wash and shampoo. The water pressure was excellent as well.
After showering I spend some time in the lounge before heading back to the plane for the flight to SIN.
