First think that comes to mind is opening an account with Zelle which you can schedule monthly payments

But I do see in capital one lets you set up recurring transfers so maybe have another account with teen as joint and set up recurring transfers

you can schedule recurring transfers to Cap1 from an account at a different bank. I do it with Chase.
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

almost every bank offers recurring transfers, chase offers a free student account while capital one 360 is always free I do know chase offers a product geared for kids I don't know anything about it. But keep in mind chase has 2 nice branches in Lakewood so if you're in Lakewood that's a plus capital one has a whole lot less fees more like no fees so that's a plus in the other direction. One thing to point out is that when my friends decided to go to Israel they realized to late that they needed a card with no fx fees which the basic chase card does not offer and it was a big hassle to rush the whole thing, so you may want to think ahead about that and start with capital one which does not have fx fees. Also capital one has a few savings account which is good.

My parents set up such an account for me at Chase (student account). We even left it that way after I became independent, because my parents still send me money often and it was convenient. (For those who think this is a gross invasion of privacy - my spending doesn't show on their statements, and I have more accounts that are not affiliated with them.)

Unless for some reason you absolutely have to use a different bank, theres no reason not to go with Cap1. No monthly fee ever, even for over 18s, no foreign fee even on the Debit Card...

I set up a Cap1 360 Money for one of my sisters... (You dont have to be the parent...), I'm still joint with her, theoretically could still see her spending but she more or less just uses it for when she travels (no fees...), and to deposit checks or dollars that I send her from EY to put in my account.

You can set it to move money in and out of your accounts in other banks on any schedual you wish.

You will probably need to open your own Cap1 360 account to be able to be the Adult on the Money account, but its free anyway, so who cares?

correct I just realized that it wasn't showing me with Chase because I was doing real-time transfers, but when you do standard transfers you can schedule recurring as well

I set it up on Capital One's side, didn't try with Chase.
