Can someone help me understand this? I have had a spark card for years, it was always a credit card, I could carry a balance. I still can. I want to open a new card for another business and I see suddenly the spark is a charge card that must be paid in full each month. When did that happen?
Did they change the card and I am just grandfathered in to the old one?

Looks like the 2% CB card is now a charge card. For credit, you can choose the Spark with 1.5% CB, or 2x miles.
Failing at maintaining Lurker status.

update:
between 7/25 and yesterday, I made 4 payments to the account, and the balance is now $4
I spent $4,400~ as well,
they still won't let be spend more than $7500
so much for multiple payments!
last month they auth'd $13,500! now with a $4 bal and multiple payments, they won't allow more than 7500!
got 3 weeks left to spend another 20k~ to get the 300,000 sign up points

i ended up paying a merchant fee to a friend to run the remaining 20k, was worth it for the 300k bonus.

in other news, shortly after, they tool starting allowing me to spend 100k, i tested it for 100k multiple times over a few weeks.
a few days ago, i put thru 10k, now it's blocked me out - won't even allow 5k more.... go figure....

Seems like you can still do it in the app.  I didn't try online.  In app - go into the venture card rewards and scroll all the way to the bottom  - there is an option to move rewards...   Looks like it is still working....

I'm talking about moving spark cash into venture miles not from venture, anyway I don't see that option in app

I did it over the phone last week.
If it benefits even just one fellow DDFer, its worth posting it.

I’ve done spark cash to spark miles online despite the CSR saying it’s not possible.

Venture might be different?

IME, If both cards are not in the same online account, you can not transfer them online. (Venture is a personal card and Spark is a business card)
While I was not able to do it online, I had no problem transferring my spark cash to venture miles via phone.

forgive me if asked already, but I was under the assumption that Cap 1 business cards no longer showed up on personal reports?!
mine just did!
(only my spark credit card (opened recently), not my spark charge card(opened almost a year ago))

this is actually really annoying, it has a high balance, and has 0 apr (for first year), so the bal will stay high for a while....
I don't imagine anything can be done?

I recently got an increase of 2000. I have a good credit and always paid on time.

TIA

Any tips on getting approved for the Capital One Business Spark Plus charge card? I just got denied despite score currently hovering around 800.

Is there a revenue or income number they like to see? Amount of planned spend? Specific ratios?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Decline letter now available online, and doesn't make much sense as I just paid down all accounts to ~0 (except for AMEX business accounts that shouldn't really show on the Credit Reports).

Any good number to call? Is it worth writing to them?

Back of the letter has the following:

Though when I log onto Experian.com it shows a FICO 8 score of 798 (after a 7 point drop due to the Cap1 pull). Average age of Accounts a little more than 5 years, oldest account 18 years. And the following for Credit utilization:

There is no recon. Fwiu they generally like ppl that carry balances with lower credit scores although iirc when the VX first came out they were easier with approvals.

VX/VX Biz are their easiest approvals.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I think it’s worth noting here again that with cap1 you can lock experian (via unlimited 7day free trials on experian.com) and they will check only equifax and transunion. This is very helpful especially now after all those inks they will not see any of those pulls.
