It looks like the CDC has removed Zika alert from the entire Caribbean

This map seems to have been updated to show that anything with purple indicates the country has had zika cases in the past but no current outbreak. Caribbean is still purple. Now I don't know how they define outbreak, but where do you see Caribbean is removed?

Here you have for example Aruba the page shows
"This notice has been removed"
not sure exactly what changed, maybe just the way they categorize it has changed

It's very unclear. Now the CDC only tells you if there was past or current, it doesn't break down which have current cases.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

If you click Quintana Roo Mexico, you get this:

"We do not have accurate information on the current level of risk. There may be delays in detection and reporting of new outbreaks."

?

These areas aren’t “Zika free”. There are no recent reported cases but the CDC doesn’t have accurate reporting information from these countries. See the actual CDC website. Standard precautions are still in effect (i.e. 3 month rule).

Probably. Since the hurricane, the Puerto Rican health department has been unable to track zika so you won't find anything updated.

And how there isn't a single update on the CDC website regarding countries with zika... Once Purple always Purple...makes no sense..

Yup.  If it's as serious as they told us all along then I would expect a follow up and to keep us updated.  Somehow most zika places is just status quo
