What the parents did is damaging to the child. There is enough עגמת נפש that the parents have to suffer through in these situations, but they should at least try to keep the kid out of the thick of it!

Oh pls I don't agree that the schools are right by not taking kids, but these parents would not settle for a deferent school so who's wrong? (I'm not talking about the parents letting the kid show up first day)

It's not like these parents couldn't get into any schools, they wanted a specific school and couldn't get in. Let's face it, these parents tried to bully the school and lost. I dont know if they overdosed on stories of parents who did anything for there kids chinuch or they were just being arrogant.

Did they ask a rov or rosh yeshiva about this grand plan? It seems like they have a strong sense of right and wrong so they probably did...

Kids don't get accepted to schools, it's sad, but that's not the issue here (spare me the "well it should be an issue" speech. The fact that the population of the Dessert Eagle Python is dwindling due to global warming is also sad- again it's not the issue)

Not sure what that means. It is an issue, here or there. Im not discussing that issue anyways.
Although as a fellow Jew, and knowing personally many people that go through hell, it's slightly closer to home than global warming, or even suffering Africans.

Is this a real question? The owners of many of the schools in Lakewood are quite wealthy individuals and they didn't make their money in the stock market.

Now that they have Capitol, and buildings to mortgage they are diversified in many different businesses. ( it's like the godfather, I was at a wedding of one of these school owners kids there was a line out the door of ppl coming to pay their respect. Hoping that a request on the day of his daughters wedding was one that could not be refused)
