I think it's worth a try, but I was sure to be extra polite and acknowledge that it wasn't an entitlement. They deducted the change fee from the value of the ticket. Since my be ticket was more than $100 cheaper than the old, I netted a refund voucher too.
I should've booked 50 sets of these and just paid the $200 CAD change fee and traded 250 sky pesos for $84CAD

Moved back 20 minutes
Same idea, my flight was moved up a half hour, I will try switching my stopover flight (Ex- YYZ) to a direct.

Just called and no luck. Said it was only a difference of 15 minutes so no changes allowed.
Not sure if I'll wait till closer to and just pay the full $200CAD and have the change and hope for a change, or if I should do that now...

their webpage lays out the rules pretty clearly (has to be an hour later than origins itinerary and new flight has to be between on the same day and between the same cities), so not surprised. You may have better luck with a HUCA and spinning it a bit with a friendly rep, but this is definitely YMMV.

Yeah. I'll just wait for a big change. This way you have more of a case (15 minutes is kind of silly).
And if it doesn't come I'll just take the $84 CAD.

Do you know if there were any IRROPS on the ticket? If not, doubtful.

Worth a try then, I'd think.

I had two of these tickets booked from YYZ to west coast. Got email that flight was moved up by 20 min. Called and convinced rep to switch flight over to be ex-NYC direct flights the evening before at no extra charge.  8)

I have 9x tickets (3 itineraries for 3 people) that I don't think I'll be using. Think the best way to get the credit is by not showing up to the flights? Seems a bit risky

On one of my 23 Delta flights now. Bumped to first class because "the ticket was booked with delta skymiles"

Whatever that means :D

LOL. The tickets expressly state that they're not supposed to be upgrade eligible. Do you have DL or skyteam elite status?

Yes. They keep the cancellation fee unless you have a reason

there was a 15-minute fight change...

so i will receive delta credit in Canadian dollar? can i use it in US domestic flight?

Also the reservation has 3 tickets (3 people), can I pool the 3 credits in one future delta ticket purchase?

thanks
