Please explain. I know kosher breakfast was not the intended purpose of this thread, but for all those who are gonna use the DSU, the information I believe would be valuable. (Is it sooo bad if we have to change the title to something like "basic DSU info"?)

Don't know where the discussion is but basically - putting that kind of info out there is asking for Kosher breakfasts to be taken advantage of, killed, and Chillul Hashems to be made.

I hear that theoretically..why not just put a YMMV and assume people have some common sense ( gasp!) to understand that they are not garunteed to receive it and make some sort of disclaimer as well in the wiki. I'm only strongly advocating this because it can make or break a person's decision to go for a DSU.

Yeah, I would not assume people have common sense. Too many examples to prove otherwise.

Not sure what a DSU has to do with Kosher breakfast. Use a DSU if you want a suite. Don't use it if you don't. You can get Kosher breakfast regardless.

While I hear that, there are so many things here on DDF that can be taken advantage of, killed, and cause a Chillul Hashem. Don't see why the free breakfast is so different than those other things that people don't want to share.

I disagree. I don't think there's any difference between driving a hotel crazy for a Kosher breakfast vs. walking into RA wearing a kippah and making a Chillul Hashem.

Plus, the people that would make a Chillul Hashem are probably going to bother every single Hyatt they go to for Kosher breakfast anyways. So having a list would help those that are on the more cautious side and are sensitive to how they come off.

There is a difference between things that are $$$-making that would get killed and things that aren't $$$-making that would get killed. And no, I'm not talking about $$$-making for me.

I think the chillul Hashem argument is irrelavent at this point because this was not Dan's reasoning for disaproving of the wiki. The "it will get killed" argument is more relavent because that was Dan's reason.
I just don't understand why publicizing this specific detail about the DSU will cause it to get killed, while we have a whole thread discussing selling a DSU and we are not concerned about Hyatt changing their T&C about a second guest in order to prevent us from taking advantage of them that way.
I understand that people may assume that they are entitled to kosher breakfast, when they are in fact not entitled at all, (and that this may cause it to be killed.) However, are we entitled to use the DSU in a way that it is not intended? If someone gives the managment a hard time at checkin becuase the managment understands what is going on and demands that the other party show up, who is to say that this won't cause a rucus in the higher echelons of Hyatt and cause a change of the T&C? (It has been reported that Hyatt has already cracked down in this manner in regards to the anniversary night)
