W South Beach Hotel.

Has anyone here been there?
Is it worth 30k SPG if I get the Fantastic Suite?

Awesome hotel!!         Don't aim for the fantastic though, use a plat account and get upgraded to the Mega or Oasis suite

Love the hotel but 30k SPG is extremely steep. I paid 311/night when I went this past Oct so the redemption value would've been horrible with points, but that's likely b/c of seasonality I assume.

It's a nice hotel but I've had very mixed experiences there. SRBH is a safer bet and better location unless you can get a great rate at the W.

Also, I think that the W has an individual small private pool on your own balcony, and the St Regis doesn't....
