Some of us recently learned, life would probably have been easier if we were prepared... ::)
Decent reviews even though its electric.

Amazon.com also has Snow Joe 18" 13 Amp Electric Snow Blower (SJ618E) on sale for $99. Shipping is free.

With the recent snowstorm, this would barely help clean the snow from the top of your car.

Remember to add on the price of a whole bunch of extension cords. You're gonna go thru them like water, every time they disappear in the snow and you run over it
I'm not who you think I am.

I got a 20" electric blower for $110. It definitely wasn't a breeze using it in 2+ feet of snow, but it made the task 100 times easier and more tolerable.

With my street not plowed until Monday afternoon and needing to get to work Monday morning, I spent a few hours on Sunday blowing until I got to a part of our street that was cleared. It involved pushing and cord manipulation but no lifting and no pain/soreness whatsoever.

When I later had to shovel out a car stuck elsewhere without the blower, I spend 30 minutes shoveling heavy high snow and my back and arms were killing!!!!

Is this as good as a $500 large gas one? No.
Does it beat shoveling?   YES!!!!!!!!

As I recently learned after two years of using a snow joe 20", that they don't work well.

After last winter, I returned it to Amazon (they charged a stocking fee), and bought a dual stage instead. There is no way I could have done the blizzard with this.
