It officially has to be dated within 6 months of the date of submission.

So after actually reading the entire thread late last night, after I got excited because I have a cap1 card already, and it seemed I could have them switch it to a Venture, I called this morning.
They told me that my "cap1 platinum MC" wasn't able to switch to a venture....
Any advice? Was the rep correct?

I just check cap1 online and my 100,000 posted actually my 110,000 miles posted, thanks to one order from the Mint it hit my spending requirement.

Easy $1,100 earned

If they let you then you're eligible. Rewards data seems to post fairly quickly for these accounts.
