i sent them a screenshot of my online account statement for jan 2011 which has on it my current balance on top of the page and on the bottom it shows the miles i had in jan

I was accepted a week ago but still haven't received the email or my card. I called Cap1 - they said they're still accepting proof if you haven't submitted it yet - but she can't guarantee anything. She gave me my passcode over the phone and I submitted. Let's hope this works.

ok so I got nervous after ever1 said that the challenge had ended so I called and got Alesandro... after I told him my concern he looked up my application and said that while my passcode wasn't ready yet I had nothing to worry about. It seems that even though they had said they they would only give out 1 billion miles they are still honoring the challenge on any application received and approved before midnight april 5th. I asked him multiple times if he was sure and he said yes so hopefully its all good.

I have a question to use Capital One points. If I stays in Marriott hotel as a reward stay, and charges food to the capital one credit card, can I get reimbursement from Capital One points?

Most likely it should work, but it really depends how the hotel classifies that charge when they post the credit card charge. If it posts as "travel" then you're fine. If it posts as "food" or anything else non-travel related, then it will not show up on the list of possible credits.

To use points to get a credit - you can only choose from their checklist of items that they determine is eligible - other charges will not show up at all on the checklist.

That makes sense. If I pay the in-site restaurant using the credit card, it may not post as travel related. If I charged the in-site restaurant expense to the room, then pay the hotel invoice using the capital one credit card, chance are they will be travel related. What do you think?

I'm not sure. Set your cash-advance limit to $999 and try to order $1000 in coins, let us know what happens.
