Diamond doesn't do too much there unless you can get a suite with it. YMMV.

there is no way i can get a suite, (Shame, because i just got the hyatt card, and would've gotten the 2 nights in a suite

)but at least i get an upgrade upon availability to a oceanview/partial oceanview room

I am checking into the GH Kauai in just a few days and have some suite upgrade certificates left. I'm not sure if its even possible to transfer them but if you can find out, you may be able to stay in an awesome suite
