someone in another thread (I think the what hotel did you reserve on points thread) reported that she booked 2 nights on points and 2 nights with the certificates and they gave her the 5th night free. I told her to double check but she never got back

When I booked the Waldof Astoria in Jer. they couldn't directly use my citi free night certificate.
Instead they had to manually add 80k points to my account and use that to book the hotel.
I wonder what would happen, if I go and cancel the reservation now.
