Best Hilton CC is sapphire reserve. Quickest way to get status is to spend $40k on a Hilton CC.
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

quickest is hilton status match. Check out the amex surpass it has an increased sign up bonus right now. I still see the citi hilton reserve as being available.

Either of those two cards give diamond after 40k in annual spend. Amex is 12ppd and the citi reserve is 10ppd on hilton spend. although some other cards with more valuable points might be more worth it to put such high spend on.

Only through amex travel portal, which negates status.

fair enough but 3x ur x 2c value = 6c
12 HH x .5 c value also 6c

Although I would agree that its easier to get higher values out of the UR and .5 is right around the high value of HH.

CSR doesn't give Hilton status.  Only AMEX Platinum and Hilton Branded cards.

I have grappled with this a lot because I spend tons on hotels with my business meetings and I do end up putting everything at Hiltons on the Surpass because with the 12ppd and being careful about redemptions (getting close to .01 a point) I'm getting a 8-12% return. When I factor in points I earn from the hotels themselves, I figure hotel stays are earning me about a 30% rebate in points. If you aren't gonna try for aspirational rewards and just want the flexibility get the CSR but my Surpass pass has enabled me to go to the Conrad Maldives and the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem for Shavuot and all of this past Pesach (and they have nights open next Pesach)!  I've booked the Waldorf Astoria Boca Beach club for 64k a night when rooms are $800+ a night and I'm booked into the Conrad Koh Samaui (status gets me free KOSHER breakfast) next winter so again it's not as flexible as the CSR but I have had some truly unbelievable experiences because of this card.

not free you will get a 20 percent discount on the entire stay. And all points and nights must be from the same account so basically if it was 80k a night, the first two nights would be free from the certificates and the last 3 would cost you 64k a night instead of 80k (meaning technically they gave you 20 percent on the first 2 nights as well but you don't save anything on those since you used a certificate)

But she can call to redeem the certs and have them put the whole registration in your name (as the main, not additional guest) just as if they were your certificate.

If someone books a certificate in your name, do you still get to keep the benefits of the voucher holder's account? i.e. if he is gold, you get gold benefits (free breakfast in jerusalem)?

yes you do
ETA: to clarify I am talking about the regular situation where the buyer is made an additional guest. I have no knowledge of when the buyer is made the primary that is not something that I brought up and honestly Im not even sure that it can be done. It might take a lot of HUCAing
