Any recommended places in the NY metro area, around some adult activities (meaning, for adults to do, as opposed to kids).  :)

its good for every hilton (even waldorf astorias) as long as there is a standard room avail.

doesnt have to be right by food but not crazy far ( we dont mind taking taxis)

Hilton Park Lane is situated in a great area, and if you could get a room on a higher floor, you'll get some decent views. Also not too far from Reuben's.

I believe Hilton give you the option to partially pay with points. Is that option avail with your reservation?

I think you need a little more points than 6k.

Anyone want to start a DDF circle? Maybe we can win points and stuff?

This is what I got in the email:
"HHonors Bonus Points, stays at hotels within the Hilton HHonors portfolio, or even a 5-day, 4-night trip to New York City!*"
learning about churning

For all you hoarding HHonors Points:

http://boardingarea.com/blogs/onemileatatime/2013/02/19/hilton-adds-award-categories-and-introduces-seasonal-pricing-as-of-march-28-2013-huge-devaluation/

This is unbelievably horrible for a program that already had crappy redemptions. Practically all redemption worthy properties are now way way out of reach...
