South Africa/joberg Travel

We have a large group  aprox, 16 going to Johannesburg for a June 29 wedding. Kayak and all the travel search sites list a avg. ticket of  2,000 non stop. does anybody have advice on finding cheaper tickets.? thank you.

any day sunday - Tuesday June 26-28. returning  flexible  a week or 10 days later. july 10 or thereafter.

A group of 16, should be able to call airlines directly and negotiate your own price.

delta should work best as far as I can tell can people be split up maybe I can help a bit PM me if you need. oh and exact dates and airports would help, as a rule on the forum if no airport is listed it is assumed that you are traveling from NYC.
