then dont ticket it.. if they ticket it they have to honor it, its not a price glitch or something like that.. maybe if it doesnt touch US soil its a different case

A friend of mine called to do a X TLV booking, rep told him that he can't book F even if F shows available, the guy told the rep that he is able to book F online, rep said it's a glitch in the system which is due to a system migration, and even if he has a ticket and ticket number, when he arrives at the checkin counter the rep won't issue a boarding pass if the passenger won't prove that he's a senator member.

I don't see how they could deny boarding if he has a ticket though

Did he call the US office or the German office?

Points sold is a completely different story than an availability glitch.

I don't see why everyone is going crazy about it
the only thing better about LX F is that you can't book it normally with miles....

I have no need for it but called Aeroplan for kicks and giggles. Rep said she tried a long sell on a date it was available w M&M and that LX rejected but I think there's a good chance she didn't know what she was doing. Not willing to HUCA. The space isn't available on EF so I think it's just a M&M issue, not an LX issue.

I wouldn't be surprised though if they release F for partners like SQ did when they changed their system.

I see that LX Y/J space on UAL is almost zero let's hope it'll go the other way around.

Where does it say in the T&Cs that only Sen could book F?

Nowhere in the booking process.

They don't have a chance with the DoT and hell, I'll put down good money on people not having problems at check-in. DROPR.

Why would a long sell work? Ever had success long selling LH F or J far out with partners?
