Just received a notice that I was "selected" to apply for the new AmEx SimplyCash Plus Card. $1,000 cash back on $10,000 purchases in first three months (my business expenses should cover that).  5% Cashback on wireless phone services and 5% off a category of my choice (e.g. hotels). No annual fee.  Seems like a great offer.  Thoughts from DDF experts?

Nice offer, looking forward to this card being launched publicly. Interested to see what the public sign up bonus is, hopefully around $500.

I got an offer but it's only $500/$5000 spend. Nowhere does it say  $1000/$10,000 >:(

I would use the Dans links, but I do not see anywhere to include the special RSVP code (for the added bonus) on the application form linked through Dans links

Yes- first $50K in purchases for the calendar year (assume 50K of the purchases in the category- would never reach that in any one category!!)
