Call CB's to remove.

You don't even have to call the credit bureau. You can SM Chase and ask them to close the AU account and remove it from your credit report.  It only takes a few days.  The AU can continue to use the credit card until the current one expires and Chase issues a new one.  Even though CSRs don't always give accurate information, it has worked based on personal experience.

I could be wrong but I don't think there's a 5/24 rule on most chase peraonal cards(and for that matter I think it could be all chase cc's). It's simple. If you've had the card within the last 24 months you get auto declined. I've had this already on UA and CSP.

I was at 5/24

Edit: i forgot to add a Chase business card that according to reports also count. that would make it 6/24.

This doesn't help for Amex AU cards.

I was at 5/24 which i believe still falls below the threshold.
If you're at 5 cards in the last 24 months than you will fall under the restrictions. I guess you got lucky (unless that was right before 5/24 applied to those cards but I don't believe it was)

It was on may 31st to be exact. i was under the impression that if you are over 5 you fall under the restriction. Anyhow, some of the cards were AU only which according to some count towards the 5 as well. This is a very complicated rule where nothing is definite

I think 3 is the sweet spot. i Was approved for 3 back in May.
More than 3 u have issues of 2/30. A 3rd u can push but 4 is practically impossible

What makes you think that?

People that never had the cards are getting denied left and right, specifically because of 5/24. It's real.

So I'm going to go for Reserve, Ink and one more, suggestion?

Ritz (unless you want a 5/24 card, in which case prob united).
Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

I can always get the Ritz at some point in the future so I'll probably go for United.

Its not very simple to figure out if you are below 5/24 given AU and business apps. I think most people are just miscalculating theit 5/24 status.

+1. I would wait for the Sapphire reserve for the end of the year. is it safe to say the bonus will still be around?
