You know that IF you call, they'll grill you over your credit file.

Yup but i have better recon luck then waiting it out. Wth, I'll apply for a few more and wait it out as I have nothing to lose

I wouldn't

I dunno, all I have to lose is 1 credit hit. Think I'll try in a month or so, and do a Chase app and Citi app at the same time.

Just make sure you apply for the Chase card first.

At least we have time till April.

Though it makes you wonder if it has anything to do with Affiliate links..
but that would be really dodgy  ::)

I'm a week late but since nobody else pointed it out, worth nothing that DoC doesn't have affiliate links so that wouldn't explain it.

I find it humorous that DDF and some other places suggest waiting it out rather than calling. CB recommends calling, and I have always called. In many cases, it's just to answer security questions.

If you are able to talk about your credit profile intelligently, call.

And in many cases it's not.

What's the difference if you call right away or wait a week or 2 before you call?

I can't speak for others, but for me it's more about all the questions on business cards, when I don't really have a legit business, and having to make up alot of answers that have no truth to them.

There's definitely logic to calling right away and logic to wait.
I've seen cases get approved when they'd be otherwise denied and v/v...
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Is there really anyway to know that for sure?

You realize that's a terrible use of MR points?

Amex business cards was wrong and I'll happily put my hand up about that one, although I wasn't 100% sure that source could be trusted which is why I tweeted instead of posted (if my memory serves me correctly anyway).

Guess you weren't wrong after all.
