Maybe I misread it but it sounded like he said it would be as of the beginning of the month. So every night, between the hours of 5pm and 10pm, they're being taught the new policies?

I've opened a ton of cards in the past 24 months, and not once during my two recon calls today (both successful) did I hear "too many accounts" or something similar. Maybe I got lucky. Who knows.
He just said, sometime in March.

You got very lucky, I was grilled for having 4 HPs in past few months, and NO new accounts for over a year! (The HPs were for biz cards). she only agreed to shift CL from an existing card in the end.

Hmmm. Might be worth it for my ink, UA, and SW business cards.

Just a data point - took a break from hitting my credit for a few months after getting denied by chase and citi. Then applied for southwest biz and personal cards within 10 days of each other and was auto approved for both.

Way more then 5/24 and applied for the Hyatt and IHG got instant approval and went for the SP for the fun of it and got pending. Any chance on the SP? Should I bother calling or wait it out?

If so shouldn't it have declined right away and not pending?

Being that I think any rep would decline it, I'd wait it out and see what happens.

If you're serious open a thread in goods for sale I'm sure you'll get PMs. Especially if you're offering contingency. But they will all likely be toughies.

Well, good to go out with a bang. Wife had 5 chase cards but figured what do we have to lose, applied for 2 more 2 weeks ago, United Consumer 55K in branch and 50K Southwest Plus over phone. For United she called up right away and was approved with shifting credit, and we just let the Southwest sit for the last 2 weeks, and today I see it's approved with a 12K credit limit. Pretty surprised they gave no issues with having 7 cards at the same time, though she'll be canceling a couple of them when annual fee hits in a month.

Nice!
probably better to move over credit from cards canceling to cards not before canceling
