Easy to figure out.

Go to Experian free credit report (or Credit Karma), count all accounts that show there that were opened in the the last 2 years (including AU's).

Add to that the number the Chase business cards opened in the last 2 years.

If it's over 5, you are affected.

I don't think this is correct.

Does somebody here know whether 5/24 is inclusive or not? Meaning I have specifically 5/24, not more than 5/24. Where does that put me?

Anyone know if you have 4 new cards in the previous 24 months and you apply for 2 cards in 1 day if it will block you?

Here's what Credit Karma is showing for recent cards.

I also just got a Discover card which doesn't seem to be here (or maybe it's not there because I just applied but didn't receive it? does that make a difference for 5/24).

Do I have a chance with Chase, or should I wait until after December to apply for Sapphire Reserve?

Also, if I call Chase to convert one of my existing cards with AF hitting to a different card (Freedom Unlimited) will that count as one of the 5?

P.S. Thanks to whoever suggested ShareX for screen capture, it's a pleasure and a breeze...
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

I just applied and got approved for a Discover card last week, it's not showing on Credit Karma. Does that mean it won't count until I receive the card and activate?

They probably haven't reported it yet, idk how long discover takes to report but it's normal for it not to show up for a bit.

Wont count until it hits your credit report.

You're still under 5/24, apply quickly before the discover card hits your report.

Possibly.

Though it may have already reported to your Experian (credit karma only shows the other 2)...

You can check by going to "Discover Credit scorecard" or making a $1 trial for CCT.

Apply now, before the discover is visible to chase!

You need to check with the big three directly as third party's are not always reliable.

How do you get a Experian report instantly?

If you order it, the discover may report by then...

Also, Credit Check Total is a Experian Product.
