Don't worry, you're not the only one. Not by a long shot.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

My application for ink preferred is in pending. Said 7-10 days so I'm assuming it's going to need recon work. Is it going to be a whole new inquiry? I would like to grab these hilton offers before they expire...

why not call recon and have them process the app for you. if 7-10 days was what the phone line said, thats a decline.

I'm at 3/24 as chase hasn't seen my new amex does anyone know if chase will approve me for a business and a personal in one day? Also is it prudent for me to get more cards now? I have 3 opened accounts in the last 75 days and 5 total.

Thanks

On the Chase Credit Journey (Chase free credit score) it shows 5 accts opened in last 2 years. Is it reliable, or does it count AU as well?

its reliable
And you could see if it's a AU or primary card.

Where can you see if it's AU or primary? Don't see that.
Also, is it counting business cards, that don't affect 5/24?

Just wanted to confirm that a credit line increase that requires a hard pull won't count towards 5/24?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Hard pulls have nothing to do with 5/24.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I'm sure this has been answered in some form or another but I've had a hard time getting a straight answer on this so forgive me:

I understand that I can get the IHG card (and others) even if I'm at 5/24 but what I'm less clear on is if once I have those do they count towards my count.  Meaning if I'm at 4/24 and I get the IHG does it put me at 5/24.  And more specific to my personal case if I am at 5/24 will getting the IHG card extend my time until I drop below 5/24.  I have 2 cards that will come off my count in June, making me 3/24 so I would like to be able to get 2 southwest cards at that point but I also want the IHG in the meantime - will getting the IHG now make me 4/24 when those 2 cards come off my count?

All cards count towards your total of 5.

IHG counts.
Amex counts!
Citi counts!
Etc..
