Not sure comments will help with that. What the Rabbi says is the deciding factor. The Rabbi I quoted seems like a common sense person. It has nothing to do with I agree with him or not.
Most of these guys were born after this rabbi died and have no clue what a holy yet practical person he was. There has not been anyone who has come close to replacing him. Every ruling you get today is hedged with a more stringent viewpoint. He ruled clearly and firmly, without hedging. A real shame we dont have someone lile him around today with rhe guts to issue rulings and stand behind them. All we get today are soundbites issued "in the name of" so and so. Nothing firm and nothing that can be challenged and tested.
