He may have a point even if he didn't say it right. Maybe there should be options to subscribe to specific types of deals only, for example some people may want only travel deals or only mistakes and some may not want trip reviews etc

True. But I believe if it would be such options, everyone would just subscribe for the good deals and no one for advertisements, and Dan would stay without a living...

I'm a little disappointed about the ad because of how bad the deal is. A quick search found those exact flights for $200 less. I think people trust the deals they find on dd and assume they are good( I know I do).

+1. Its one thing when they advertise tickets to Israel. I never got it how they advertise such expensive flights to Florida.

Yea, when I saw the price in my RSS feed, I assumed it was a ticket to Israel or s/t similar.
I never would have thought that tix to Florida would be so pricey from NYC.
